100 Years in the making. Beards and Morgan unite

 

On Saturday August 1st 2009, the Morgan Motor Company invited Morgan enthusiasts from over 80 countries to descend on Cheltenham Racecourse to celebrate its 100th year.

 

Beards, in conjunction with Hublot watches (manufacturers of the Morgan Aero Bang watch) were delighted to attend and help Morgan commemorate the success of a truly British sports car.

 

VIP Guests were shown a private collection of Hublot watches in the Panoramic restaurant with dramatic views overlooking the proceedings and shown the latest cars from the Morgan factory including the new 'Morgan Supersports' (recent winner in GT3 racing)

 

Saturday evening saw the Gala dinner where guests were privileged to witness Charles Morgan celebrate his family's success over the years with show reels of his family and their cars.

 

Alex Rose Director of Beards said "For me it was quite an emotional event as it reminded me of when my mother and I celebrated along with our family 200 years of our company being in business back in 2004.

 

It makes you realise that British really is best, and because of the passion for what you do means you will go to any lengths to make your customers happy.

 

Charles Morgan has gathered over what I think was over 5000 people this weekend all talking about a truly amazing car, and its a huge credit to him and the company."

 

During the evening Raymond Reuter PR Manager Worldwide for Hublot watches presented Charles Morgan with 'une piece unique' of the Hublot Morgan Aero Bang in solid 18ct gold cementing what is already a fantastic relationship between 2 very forward thinking companies.

 

Guests included Richard Hammond and wife Mindy (who dazzled in Beards jewellery), The former Stig; Perry McCarthy and Sam Branson alongside guests from Hublot, Morgan, and Beards.
