Beards is seeing an increase in sales despite the recession. The success is being put down to traditional values of customer service, continuing investment in uncompromising quality and carrying the worlds leading brands.

 

The last few months have seen Beards becoming a hive activity both front of house and behind the scenes;

Mark Carter, Beards' watchmaker, has recently completed the Breitling Authorised Service center program and having had the workshops reviewed, Beards has been confirmed as one of only of a handful of UK service centers.

 

Following additional investment Mark is now also one of small percentage of UK based watchmakers to complete Omega rigorous Co-Axial watchmaking course.

This confirms Marks position as one of the most experienced and brand qualified watchmakers in the country.



Whilst watches continue to do well, Jewellery has come to the forefront of what Beards is about; presenting our clients with new, exciting and unique designs.

Hannah Hughes, Beards' in house jewellery designer and head goldsmith, is opening an apprentice position within the Beards Jewellery studio.

This will allow the development of a Beards own in house collection that should excite our customers exceptionally high standards.

Customers will continue to enjoy individual jewellery design, repair and manufacture all done above our Promenade showroom.

 

The workshops may not be the only aspect of the business to receive additional investment.  There are rumours that Beards is working closely with internationally acclaimed architect, Eva Jiricna, for a showroom that will be second to none in the country.
