Sales Consultant (CHELTENHAM BASED)
Beards Jewellery are seeking a sales consultant for their Flagship Cheltenham showroom
Specialising in high-end diamonds, fine jewellery and watches the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in the luxury goods retail sector and be happy to work in a client-facing role 5 days a week including Sundays.
Beards offer a good salary commensurate with experience, training in both jewellery and watches with strong career development opportunities.
Reporting to the Retail Director and department manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store and looking after clients.
Further responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with client database
- Sales to new clients
- Bespoke Jewellery Appointments
- Clienteling
- Visual Merchandising
- Stock control and management
- Store maintenance and organisation
Undergoing on-the-job training for each department/brands
Liaising with our own internal workshops on behalf of clients
Undergo a professional jewellery qualification that is internationally recognised
Key Skills Required
Ability to communicate well in English (essential) other languages a bonus
Confident and respectful communicator
Excellent organisational skills
Computer literate and ideally familiar with EPOS and stock management (EG familiar with MS Office)
Well-presented and smartly dressed
Previous experience in jewellery and/or luxury sales essential
Must be within commuting distance of GL50 1NA
Salary Commensurate with experience £25-£30k per annum
