TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Terms and conditions - Beards Jewellers 2020 Christmas Diamond Promotion. The Promotion is only open to people over the age of 18. To participate in this promotion, users must complete a Beards Jewellers Online minimum purchase of five hundred pounds or alternatively, apply for entry by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope containing contact details to - FAO Marketing Dept., Christmas Diamond 2020, Beards Jewellers, 70 The Promenade, Cheltenham, GL50 1NA.
2. This promotion will run from November 1st 2020 to 12:00 on December 22rd 2020.
3. The winner will be selected at random after the competition deadline of 12:00 noon on December 22rd, who has fulfilled the criteria in 1) above. Entries made after this point will not be entered. The winner will be announced on social media platforms at 13:00 on December 22nd
4. The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) except for Beards Jewellers employees, all contractors and families or anyone directly connected with the organisation, and operators of its brands and concessions.
5. Entrants into the promotion shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
6. The prize consists of one 0.5 carat F VS 1 princess cut diamond that will be delivered to the winner on or before December 24th 2020 via Royal Mail guaranteed delivery.
7. The winner will be notified by email or phone (using the details provided at entry) on 22/12/2020 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified by Beards Jewellers, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Beards Jewellers shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Beards Jewellers shall be entitled to select another winner.
8. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
9. Only one entry per person will be accepted. In the event of multiple entries being received from one entity, only the first entry will be accepted.
10. We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct.
11. Beards Jewellers reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of Beards Jewellers in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Beards Jewellers shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
13. By taking part in this promotion, all participants consent to us collecting, storing and using their personal data submitted with their entry for the purposes of this promotion.
14. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be used for marketing purposes without the individual’s prior consent.
15. The winner’s name can be obtained by sending an SAE and covering letter to: FAO Marketing Dept. - Beards 2020 Christmas Competition Winner, 70 Promenade, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 1NA, after closure of the promotion.
16. Winners may be required to participate in related publicity without further reward. E.g.: be photographed for website/newspaper stories, provide a short statement about their win.
