Using advanced 3D CAD software, we create detailed digital models that allow you to visualise the piece from every angle before it’s made. At this stage, our wonderful workshop team can offer a test ring, 3D printed to your size and design. It's the perfect way to be sure that you will be happy with the design.

Once the design direction is settled — sketched, shaped, and refined — we begin sourcing the stones. That part’s always a little magical. Our in-house specialists will introduce you to an array of carefully chosen gems — each with its own character, quirks, and quiet fire. And if you have heirloom diamonds or family stones, we’ll often build around those — honouring the past while creating something entirely new.

We’re proud to say that no two bespoke pieces are ever alike — and nor should they be. Because your life, your love, your milestones deserve more than the ordinary. They deserve craftsmanship, time, and a little bit of poetry.

How Does it Work?

  • Step one: Consultation

    Your bespoke journey begins with a relaxed, commitment-free conversation—either with our in-house designer or a member of our expert team. It’s your chance to share ideas, ask questions, and explore the possibilities.

  • Step TWO: Design

    Our team brings your vision to life through hand-drawn sketches or painted illustrations, capturing the essence of your story in its earliest form. Every detail is shaped with care, ensuring the design begins with true intention.

  • Step three: Design proceed

    With your approval, the design is passed to our technical team, where it’s transformed into a detailed 3D CAD model. This stage requires a £150 deposit and allows you to visualise the final piece with precision and clarity.

  • Step Four: Production Proceed

    Once the design is fully signed off, we begin crafting your bespoke piece in our in-house workshop. A 50% deposit of the remaining balance is taken at this stage to begin production.

  • Step Five: The Finishing Touches

    Your piece is brought to life by our master jewellers—stones are set by hand, metalwork is refined, and each surface is polished to perfection. This is where the artistry and craftsmanship truly meet.

  • Step Six: The FINAL REVEAL

    The finished piece is carefully presented, ready for collection. A one-of-a-kind creation, made just for you, to be treasured for a lifetime. We offer luxury presentation or proposal options in various packaging sizes.

What if I get bored of my bespoke design?

One of the strengths of precious metals like gold and platinum is their ability to be endlessly reused. Stones can be re-set, metals melted and shaped into something entirely new—without losing their integrity.

At Beards, we offer a dedicated remodelling service, giving old or inherited pieces new life through thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship.

Do you offer refunds for bespoke jewellery?

No, due to the custom nature of bespoke jewellery, we do not offer refunds on bespoke purchases.

What if my bespoke ring is the wrong size?

We offer a first resizing for free so you can rest assured that a custom ring will fit correctly.

How long does the bespoke process take?

We aim to create your piece in 6-10 weeks from the date you proceed with your order.
