Since first appearing as a pilots chronograph Ref. 806 in 1952, the Navitimer has gained legendary status through multiple iterations and updates.
Now, Breitling have redesigned the staple classic with the elegant female in mind; the reduced size, beaded bezel and range of colours are a pivot away from the overtly masculine stylings of the classic slide rule encircled timepiece.
The Navitimer Automatic is available in stainless steel with a blue, copper, or silver dial and stick indexes. Additionally, there is a stainless steel version, a red-gold, and a two-tone steel and red-gold version that come with a mother-of-pearl dial and diamond-set indexes. All are powered by the automatic caliber 17 movement, based on the ETA 2824-2, which is the same caliber used in most of the recent Navitimers including the 8 Automatic.
It is a stunning revamp of a classic watch that will surely become a staple of the contemporary elegant lady.
